ABSTRACT

The current COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in economic problems but on the other hand learning must still be carried out using computer or laptop technology that has software in it. The problem discussed in this article was how the law used pirated software during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research used a qualitative approach by interviewing students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. According to the results of the authors research it showed that this pandemic condition has changed the learning system from offline to online which had a huge impact on all levels of society. Copyright regulation and software requirements were needs that have reached the dharuri level and were included in the maqashid Shariah which aimed to maintain reason and protect human property so that they were not trapped and were not left in ignorance. Therefore, the result of this research was that the use of pirated software during the COVID-19 pandemic was permissible due to the pandemic period that has greatly changed the economic system of human beings and will return to the original law which was haram (forbidden) when this pandemic period ended and the economy was back on its feet.

One way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to provide health education to the public. This study aims to analyze the influence between the independent and dependent variables before and after being given treatment. This study uses the design of this study, namely one group pre-posttest design with 35 respondents who were selected using a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. The instrument in this study was SAP and a questionnaire using an "ordinal scale" measurement. The variable of this research is the independent variable is health education. The dependent variable is knowledge of COVID-19 prevention. For bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon signed ranks test statistic with a significant value < (α = 0.05) and then analyzed using the SPSS supporting application. The final result is Zcount = -5,155aAsymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000, this means that the final result is a significant value <0.05, i.e., there is a significant effect before and after health education is carried out. Conclusion There is an effect of health education on knowledge of preventing COVID-19 infection in Sempaja Selatan Village, Samarinda. COVID-19 menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan dunia sejak bulan Januari 2020. ABSTRACT

Controversies surrounding the handling of corpses have been amplified during the present COVID-19 pandemic. According to Indonesian scholars, certain perspectives driving these controversies inhibit the implementation of health protocols issued by the government. This study comprehensively explores the diverse perceptions and responses of religious leaders regarding COVID-19 funeral management. Participants comprised six scholars from major Islamic religious organizations, two community leaders, and two families representing COVID-19 patients. Furthermore, content analysis was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the religious leaders, all men aged over 50 years, supported the health directives designed to reduce high transmission risk. However, there were substantial disparities in corpse preparation processes, potentially due to organizational beliefs around burial rites. Some religious leaders aligned their protocols with their religious beliefs. Conversely, families of the deceased insisted that the approved protocol for handling corpses went against their religious and cultural values. Therefore, promotion of protocols and coordination among the government, religious leaders, and the community are needed to decrease the misperceptions and misinformation surrounding the new COVID-19 funeral protocols.
